Freaky Fortune feat. Riskykidd: The absolute positive energy!

We are a breath before the contest of Eurovision 2014 and we have the great honor to host on our website the Greek participation that traveled to Copenhagen to represent the country, ladies and gentlemen we present you Freaky Fortune and alongside them  Riskykidd.
Freaky Fortune is a new dance project which was formed in 2011 and composed by Nicholas Raptaki and Theophilus Pouzmpouri. The sound of their music is something new in the Greek data, able to combine the Greek passion with global musical sounds and gives an unprecedented result. A great example of this combination is the song "Rise Up", the song that won the Greek final and got the golden ticket for 59to song contest of Eurovision. Riskykidd is a young talented rapper, perhaps his particular style is in his genes because he has Jamaican – German blood. His steps led him to Greece, and Freaky Fortune, and somewhat so began the "journey" of success.
After the completion of the second rehearsal in Copenhagen they found some of their valuable time to make this beautiful interview.
Before we begin we remind you that Freaky Fortune feat. Riskykidd will perform on May 8 in the second semifinal of Eurovision.

Well, you're three very young men, but also three new artists, how does it feel to represent the Greek spirit across Europe and beyond, and what is the most intimate thoughts and your feelings about this involvement?
F.F. & R.: We have said many times and really feel! We are honored! We are three young artists indeed, with a huge responsibility on our back for the representation of our country in a music competition that unites people, cultures and the soul of all. Thanks from all over the world who believed in us and brought us to this position, Panik Records gave us the opportunity to experience all this and all the people who are close to us, our partners, Herodio, friends and family support us at every step. We all promised to do our best on stage to show everywhere the Greek spirit, the Greek soul and energy, and to convey the message of the Rise Up! The fact that we all, young and old look forward, high, positive and smile and love the future to do better ourselves !

The representing song of Greece this year is the English-speaking “Rise Up!”. The music and the lyrics are not reminiscent Greece, do you believe that this partly disappoints the Greek diaspora who want the Greek participation to remind their homeland?
F.F. & R.: We hope that the Greeks in every corner of the earth will feel the energy of the song and hope to sing with us every verse that aims to uplift, mental, spiritual and physical! We are three young artists express through our music our need for a better future with optimism and dreams can be realized. The Greeks that we feel within us. We hope to embrace and believe as we do.

Eurovision contest is the oldest TV show in Europe, from her scene have passed the biggest names in the history of European music. In 2015 the competition counts 60 years of existence, some say that in nowadays Eurovision has "sacrificed" the true meaning of the competition on the altar of commercialism. How do you see the specific "visual" through artistic and personal look?
F.F. & R.: Our experience so far shows us that all those participating in the Eurovision Song Contest are people who love music and through creative ways of expressing their feelings. Through music expressing culture. The music and the institution of Eurovision thus unites so many different people in a great celebration and this alone is great.

The word "Eurovision" reminds us good, bad, or perhaps special collective moments. What is your personal "relationship" with this contest?
F.F. & R.: The contest watch all year, our homes, with friends, friends, families and suddenly this year we are the ones involved! It's like a dream! On the one hand it is difficult to believe the other the living! It is fantastic feeling, there are no words!

This year the Eurovision contest has a lot of ballads. As the experts say is “Ballad Year”. What dreams bears the Greek delegation in her suitcase to beautiful Copenhagen, knowing that, perhaps, Greek has the most danceable song of the year?
F.F. & R.: Our only desire is to convey the message to all of Rise Up! To all rise and dance with us. Begin all thinking positive, smile, to overcome all difficulties that we face and to look to the future with optimism and dreams. This is our song. A message of uplift, physical, mental and spiritual.

You meet with several, if not with all, your "co - passengers" in this great European celebration. What are the feelings you receive from fellow artists for the song, but generally for your presence in the competition?
F.F. & R.: We have experienced at delegations. We are like a big group who are preparing the great celebration of music called Eurovision. We play music together, talk about experiences, we laugh, we exchange tips, are all good feelings. We are optimistic and we invite the whole world, as we say, Join Us and Rise Up!

These were the amazing Freaky Fortune feat. Riskykidd, we feel from our side a great thrill it is important that we are represented by truly talented artists but most of all “Humans”!

We wish from the bottom of our hearts, Good Luck! to these young wonderful men. Good luck Greece!
